Cajun stuffed mushrooms



20 mushrooms, button or cremini, stems removed

1 pound cooked seafood: crab, shrimp, clams, oysters, etc.

8 ounces cream cheese

1/2 cup green onions

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

1 cup parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter melted




1/2 cup panko or bread crumbs

1/4 parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter melted



  1. Wash the mushrooms and remove the stems. Place in a single layer on a foil lined baking dish and bake at 375 for about 10 minutes.
  2. Remove mushrooms from oven and let cool. While cooling, mix together the remaining ingredients except for the topping. Mix the topping in a separate bowl.
  3. Fill the mushrooms' caps with the filling mixture and top with the topping mixture. Bake for about 20 minutes till cheese is melted and browned.
